Hello,
Recently I’ve heard it’s hard to label me. My clients value me for the peace I have and transfer on to them. My friends tell me they like me for my energy and passion for life.
My name is Monika Wasilewska-Serwiak. Who am I? Each of the above to some extent. I am married, and I have two really sweet nieces, a couple of very good friends and many colleagues. My passions outside of work are cooking and running. Running is for me a very relaxing activity, I concentrate on the movement and the way, and at the same time there is some craze in it, especially when while running I listen to old hits from my school days. Cooking, on the other hand, is like alchemy for me – I especially like experimenting with new tastes. It keeps fascinating me, how people get the ideas for joining tohether completly unexpected tastes, and the effect they get is simply amazing. Joining and mixing things together is what I really like.
Professionally, I have created the described here 12-week programme – ONE STEP AHEAD. I have been working with my clients with use of cognitive behavioural and caching techniques. I am a member of the Polish Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – currently in the CBT certification process. I have an advanced coaching certification PCC (Professional Certified Coach) with the International Coach Federation.
I am also a business coach with many years of experience, Rational Behaviour Therapy trainer, and accredited consultant of Insights Discovery (psychometric tests). I support my clients with use of many techniques in a way that best suits a particular person.
I also support with clients who experience difficulties in learning foreign languages. I work with their fear, perfectionism, and lack of motivation.
I believe in ethics and rectitude – that’s why I regularly work under professional supervision both individually and in a group.
My two favourite words are effectiveness and independence. It may seem conflicting, but always in my life when I was doing something I had this question at the back of my head, whether this what I do would have been effective. And I have learnt one thing: you can be effective and stressed out or effective and calm inside, and the key to the one or the other is in your head. My programmes help to find this key!
I hope to meet you in person 🙂
